Last question for Plex Team, does M1 Native Support means Mx Native Support and so include M2 Native Support?ĮDIT: I share my Plex Server with members of my family throught the web, that's why I need transcode capability. Some of you can share their experiences with transcoding multiple streams 4k tone-mapped to 720p or 1080p, with Plex Server M1 Native Support? Ideally, I need a retex with Mac Mini M1 / Mac Studio M1 Max and eventually MacBook Pro 13" with M2 :) What I want to do is to migrate my server to an Apple Mac Mini M1, or Studio M1 Max (or wait for Mini M2?) BUT I don't want to loose the ability to transcode multiple 4k to 720 with tone-mapping. Today I run my server on an Unraid VM, with a P2200 and it's working well, but it suck on my electricity bill.
